I’m not completely sure I understand the question.

Most of the carbon that we release at the moment just goes straight into the atmosphere, hence global warming.

There are lots of ideas about carbon capture, taking carbon out of the air and turning it into pellets that can be buried and stuff. But the easiest way really is just to plant a bunch of trees. They grow using carbon which is to say the literally take it out of the atmosphere for us.

As James said at the moment all of the carbon either gets stored in soils, the oceans, taken in by plants or released into the atmosphere mainly by us!

Ideally we will reduce the amount of carbon we release by using low-carbon energy sources. I work in nuclear so obviously favour this but we must use it alongside renewables like solar, wind and others too!
