Compassion, dedication and curisoity. It is very important to be like a mini detective and listen carefully to what every patient says because you never know how the smallest of details can lead to huge revalations in your case.

I need to be a good communicator, be able to work in a team but also by myself and be able to adapt to new and unexpected situations. I think dedication and passion to research is also really important, I’m doing an important job and I think it’s critical to show to the people that I am communicating with that I am passionate about climate change.

Curiosity is the biggest one, followed by dedication.

There can be a lot of banging your head against a brick wall when it comes to some scientific problems. You need that dedication to keep going at it but it’s the curiosity to find out what happens that will pull you through in the end.
