As I have said before, be resillent. Science is continuously evolving and you need to be dedicated to keep yourself updated. You should also not be let down by failure because experiments not working out and long hours is a huge part of science.

Find something you love and do everything you can to keep doing it. I fell in love with Geography at a young age and knew that I wanted to do it an university and as a job. I worked hard to achieve my dream, it’s not always easy but never give up, you don’t have to be the best at everything, I wasn’t great at maths but knew that it’s a part of science so worked at getting better at it. As Zoya said be resilient 🙂 .

Find the thing that you enjoy and do that. If you don’t enjoy it then there’s not much point.

Also don’t be afraid to try new things or test out different ideas, you might find a new joy.

Find what your really interested in and go for it! If you really enjoy what you do or study you will work hard and be motivated to push through any hurdles you face
