Yes, one of my favourite things about my job is that it allows me to interact with lots of other people and hear about their ideas and research. As a scientist its important to keep an open mind and keeping up to date with the latest research can give you new ideas for your own work

Yeah I regularly go to conferences and watch other academics present their work!

YESSSS! that is how you always keep learning, you can never know everything, talking to people and listening to their ideas and work is the best way to learn.
