I currently live in London, I don’t have any pets at the moment but will soon be moving to the countryside when plan to get a dog. I like to hike and do art in my spare time and love to travel when ever possible.

I work as a Forensic researcher where I look at making new methods, or ways to make existing methods better that mean we can find evidence from items given to our labs by the police. This evidence can then be used in criminal court cases. As a researcher I don’t go to court, my work is in the labs working with instruments and testing ideas.
My Typical Day:

I get to work so I can open the lab at 8 am, where I run checks on all the instruments I work with to make sure they are working properly, ready for the days experiments

I get to work so I can open the lab at 8 am, where I run checks on all the instruments I work with to make sure they are working properly. Then I will start making any samples I need that day *lunch break* I then set up all my experiments for the afternoon.
After that I go back to my office to make sure all my notes from that day are up to date and any data from previous experiments is written up
What I'd do with the prize money:

Give it to charity to help kids get involved in science and STEM subjects
